Overview

Come join the Modern SaaS team as a Backend Engineer. Modern SaaS team is building a next generation platform using containers and Kubernetes. It also builds and supports Platforms, Tools and Services that move the needle on Developer productivity. In this role you will develop and/or implement cutting edge solutions to enable speed and agility through the development experience.

We are looking for a highly motivated and creative problem solver with a passion for innovation to join our team and revolutionize the way the world does business.

What we work on
We are building a next generation observability platform on K8s. It encompasses working with large volumes of real time data, stream processing, implementing fast lookup databases and optimized data structures to render real time.

What you'll bring

  • Good communication skills. Must be able to manage multiple customers patiently and resolve issues without friction
  • Must be good with troubleshooting
  • Should be a self-starter, quick learner, self-motivated and able to run independently
  • Excellent communication skills: Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences

How you will lead

  • 6-9 years’ experience in software development
  • Fluent in software development methodology
  • Experience with Agile Development and Scrum methodologies
  • Expertise in the Software design/architecture process
  • Expertise in Algorithms and Data Structures
  • Expertise with unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD)
  • Must understand Structure Programming techniques and be comfortable in large scale C-like development environments
  • Expertise in Java Programing and/or GoLang Programing
  • Nice to have Experience with container systems (Docker) and container orchestration (e.g. ECS/EKS, Kubernetes)
  • AWS or Google cloud or azure experience
  • Nice to have Experience in AI/ML
  • Nice to have Experience in Data Engineering and Streaming /Kafka
